China King Buffet Restaurant in Texarkana

Tasteless. Building had an old odd smell to it. Not appetizing.

Usually best chinese in texarkana but today woulnd even give it a 1/4 of a star

China king has really improved since opening back up. I highly recommend it.

Done with this place! They've been shut down before..maybe it's time for another inspection???..and I hate to tell it this way because I actually liked the food here..until it made me sick to my stomach 3 times!!! I kept giving them another shot thinking maybe it was just me..nope!! So I will steer clear of this place..something's not quite right there🤔...and stop following your customers around the buffet!! It's a buffet!!! No such thing as too much of one thing!!! That may be the only thing they like from your restaurant!!!

Great food and buffet.

The food had no taste, and things that were supposed to be hot, cold!? The atmosphere wasn't very inviting either... Just all together not satisfied.

I love their food, I go by myself or with a friend cause my hubby want go cause he says he don't like it but what can you say when you don't try it.

Lots to choose from and love the Goodly music playing. The fellow who had owned it for so long had gone to hollering and screaming every time I was in there. So I had completely quit going for a couple of years. Much better atmosphere now.

The waitress was very nice. The food was great on the buffet.

The place does smell a bit mildewed, but the selection and quality of the customer service make up for it. Upon arrival, some of the food items were a bit old, but I did arrive twenty minutes before 1600. After my first plate, I went back, and everything was fresh. I'd definitely eat here again.

Good food but wish they'd still give you free noodles and water when you're inside waiting for your to-go order

It was very good took it to go and it was still warm when I got home. Thought it was a little pricey though.

my two sons and I enjoyed the visit and spending time with each other,it was quiet and not to busy which helped out alot

I had not been in this restaurant in a few years and on a whim for lunch decided to stop in again. My first impression going in was of a very intense smell of seafood. In some cases this is okay, here not so much. The variety of selections on the buffet was good. I sampled several things and found almost all to my liking. It was a reasonable price for the buffet. The overall decor was a bit dated and could use a good deep cleaning. My thoughts were that it was okay. Not good, not bad. It filled my need for lunch and my desire for something other than a burger meal. I might go back but not any time soon. Stop if you are looking for a buffet and are hungry. If your needs run to ambiance and fresh made food, keep on driving.

They were about to close and we had the friendliest staff accommodate us, and still a large variety of food to choose from, and the food tasted amazingly delicious, also I had the best frog legs ever...cooked to perfection!Thank you China King for making our party of 3 really happy and satisfied!Under new management, y'all should check them out!!

They have a variety of sushi and crab meat. The price is good. That will be our go to place when we want Chinese food

We live in West Virginia we are over the road truckers. We read the comments on China king web page some was good and some was bad. But I think it was a pretty nice place and the people was really nice. The food was pretty dam good everything was fresh and hot.

Menu says Delivery but the only deliver when they want to. Terrible Service!!

Wonderful place to eat. They have a great variety of delicious food like frog legs, shrimp, and so much more. I would definitely recommend China King Buffet and will certainly be a repeat customer. Great job, China King Buffet.

I was happy about all the good tasting food until a roach ran past me in the rest room. Makes me wonder where the rest of it's family is crawling.🤦🏾‍♂️

Chinese food. Yum yum. Here they have a large variety. For price and walking distance, hard to beat.

Right when I came to this place I wasn't sure what to think. The place was empty with only one or two customers. It looked like a run down place with greasy floors and smelly restrooms. But despite all of that, they had a very tasty buffet. And great service. Just stop by if you ever find yourself along the way.

The rice, noodles, eggrolls and various meats tasted really good. The sweet tea was also very good.Great customer service. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.I took one star off because the atmosphere can be improved.

Not as good as when they opened. That was the peak & they haven't came back to it. The rice wrapping the sushi was so dried out that I couldn't chew it (I was out with extended family and did not want to be rude by spitting it out into a napkin). The hot & sour soup was not up to par. The waitstaff was the best part of this experience. We had a very conversational server who we enjoyed thoroughly. Will try it again in another 6 mos to a year, or so, if they're still open.

Very disappointed in the service. When we were done eating we asked for to go tray to take ONLY what was already on my plate, I was told I would have to pay full price for a 'to go' meal which was $9.15 +tax. I decided to go ahead and pay for a to go tray. I went to get a couple of things from the buffet line in my to go meal a lady stopped me and told me that I couldn't do that and I was to put my leftovers from my plate in the tray (my plate of leftovers was less than 1/4 of a plate). Never mind that I had ALREADY paid for this food on my plate! We generally go there to eat once a month, well NEVER AGAIN!

the best Chinese food in town and really fast service always fresh food and good appetizers

They changed the cocktail sauce. It is now sweet ketchup. The soup recipes taste like they have changed as well. As far as the food, it was pretty good. Some things were better than others, but nothing was just bad. Great staff.

Some of the food was cold, and also had a bad smell like someone had been spaying scented roach spray🤮👎

Newly remodeled and under new managment. Place has great food. Eat here every time im in Texarkana. Wait staff is cery polite and friendly
